William Bradford and Alice Hanson

William Bradford, Yeoman was the son of William Bradford. He was buried on Thursday, 15 July 1591 o.s. in Austerfield, Yorkshire.

William Bradford married Alice Hanson on Sunday, 21 June 1584 o.s. in Austerfield, Yorkshire.

Alice Hanson, the daughter of John Hanson and Margaret Gresham, was baptized in Wrington or Wrenthan, England. She died after 1595.

Their children were:

• Gov. William Bradford, born in about 1590, baptized on Thursday, 19 March 1590 o.s. in St. Helen's chapel, Austerfield, Yorkshire, immigrated in 1620 to Plymouth, New Plymouth Colony, died on Tuesday, 19 May 1657 o.s. in Plymouth, New Plymouth Colony. He married Alice (Carpenter) Southworth on Thursday, 14 August 1623 o.s. in Plymouth, New Plymouth Colony.

• Margaret Bradford, baptized on Monday, 8 March 1585 o.s., buried on Tuesday, 9 March 1585 o.s.. She never married.

• Alice Bradford, baptized on Monday, 30 October 1587 o.s., died on Friday, 30 January 1607 o.s..

William Bradford and Alice Hanson may have been married eith 21 or 28 June 1584.
