Louis F. Risser and Mary Tangeman

Louis F. Risser, the son of David Risser and his wife Christina, was born in January 1861 in Iowa. He died at the age of about 49 in 1910 in Colorado City, Colorado.

Louis F. Risser married Mary Tangeman.

Mary Tangeman, the daughter of J. G. Tangeman and his wife Anna, was born in April 1861 in Iowa.

Their children were:

Bea was an only child. She had an uncle who died in a Southern Civil War camp.

Louis Risser and the Tangeman brothers operated a flour mill together--the Tangeman Mill in Talmage Nebraska.

The 1900 census records show Louis and Mary Risser living in Talmage, Otoe County, Nebraska, where they owned their own home free and clear. Louis was, at the time, a saloon keeper. Anna Tangeman, Mary's sister, was living with them.

In later years, Annie Tangeman lived with Arthur and Bea Brown.
